Today, most people update their iPhone directly on their device without connecting it to a computer. This is called a wireless setting and how to do it is as follows:

Click on General

Next, click Software Update.

Click Software Update

You will see information about the latest update, including the version number and details of what the update will improve.

If the iPhone has not downloaded the update, click Download and Install and enter the password if required.

Click Download and Install

When the update download is complete, a message may appear asking if you want to install the update now or later. Click Install Now.

After the installation process begins, you will see a message saying Verifying Update. Wait for it to end. After verification is complete, the iPhone screen will turn black and reboot.

The iPhone screen will turn black

You will then see the Apple logo and a small progress bar in the middle of the screen.

Once the installation is completed, you can unlock and use your iPhone again as usual.
